Top 10 Questions

1.  What should I expect at a service?

Expect to walk into an atmosphere where folks genuinely care about you and each other. The music is modern and current with the writers of the day. The preaching is practical and down-to-earth and brings the truths from the Bible into our culture. There is also time for refreshments and socializing if you choose to.

2.  What do most people wear?

You'll see many jeans and not as many ties, but most folks wear what they are comfortable in.

3.  If I have kids, where will they go?

We have a great KidZone program for newborns through elementary age children. If your child is in Middle School, we have a service at 11:00 am on Sundays in the Chapel. If your student is in High School, we have an exciting service on Wednesday nights at 7:00 pm.

4.  How long is the service?

Our services are about 90 minutes long. We have great contemporary worship, a relevant message and time to connect with others. Services on Sundays are at 9:00 & 11:00 am.

5.  Will I feel pressured to share, give or be embarrassed in anyway?

No.  We make a point to allow you to feel comfortable and to just visit until you feel you want to get more involved. 

6.  What is REALLY behind this church?

This church is really about relationships. We want to help you develop your relationship with God and with others. That is our primary purpose in this community.

7.  Is this church involved in the community?

We make an effort to be involved and "give back" to the community through various outreach and project opportunities throughout the year. Evangel is committed, now and in the future, to continuing an ongoing involvement in the community. Click here for information about our community food pantry, Hands of Hope.

8.  What do you believe?

We are a Bible church and, therefore, believe that the Bible holds the message from the Lord that is practical for today's world. We believe that Jesus Christ is the way to God and that you can have a personal relationship with Him. Click here for more details on our beliefs. 9.  What do you have for Spanish speaking individuals?

During our Sunday services we have Spanish translation available through personal headsets that can be picked up at the Welcome Center.

10.  Do you have other ways to build relationships?

There are ways at Evangel to foster relationships. We have youth, men's, women's, children's, worship, and many other ministries. At the core of Evangel is what we call Life Groups. These groups meet separate from Sunday morning during the first and third weeks of the month and meet in local homes to dig deeper into studies and relationships.
