Music Ministry

The Evangel Music Department, as one body unified in spirit and with a heart of purity, purposes to glorify God, to humbly serve Him in a spirit of excellence as ministers of worship and music... To lead others into His divine presence through thanksgiving, praise and worship. Our goal is to encourage, train, and direct those whom God has called into the music ministry with a spirit of service, excellence, sensitivity, purity, humility and strength.

To be a part of the Sunday morning worship band you:

• Must have a personal, born again relationship with Jesus Christ
• Must be a member of Evangel Church
• Must be at least 16 years old
• Must complete a successful audition
• Must attend weekly rehearsals, currently held Thursday evenings, 7:00pm - 9:00pm in the auditorium
• Must be able to sing/play in at least 2 services per month
• Must be able to commit to at least 1 full year of ministry with the Music Ministry
• Must be committed to worshiping the Lord
