Ushers & Greeters Ministry
Ushers and Greeters also know as Evangel Connection Parters (ECP) are individuals from our church who volunteer to become part of a team to help connect visitors and regular members to our church—where everybody can experience fellowship, support and the joy of service. An ECP has great people skills. They are hospitable, friendly, respectful and accommodating servants of the Lord. They are men and women of integrity sharing the love of Jesus. To be chosen to serve as an ECP in the church is more than an honor, it is a ministry which is a major key in winning souls to Christ and the Church. This is real Christian service in action; for the only hands Christ has to reach men and women for the Kingdom are your hands. Use them to serve even as Christ used His to serve.
Responsibilities of Evangel Connection Partners include:
- Helping guests, members and visitors to their seats during a service
- Receiving the offering during a service
- Handing out and receiving Guest Books during a service
- Greeting by a door or entrance
- Assisting the pastoral staff during a service
