Kids any age are invited to join us on Saturday, September 11 for a Evangel's Men's Ministries Annual Pinewood Derby Grand Prix. We're racing official Royal Rangers pinewood cars. Kits are available for sale at Evangel Church in KidZone. Each kit is $5.
You can also come out on Saturday, August 28 at 9:00 for the Pit Crew Breakfast. We'll eat breakfast and then have a few guys on hand to help cut out cars and offer free pointers on making your car a fast racer!

Offical Race Rules:
ars (except those entered in the unlimited class) must meet the following specifications. Note: Check the kit block before you start to make sure that it does not exceed any of the requirements. Ranger Derby cars may be made from Royal Rangers kits sold by Gospel Publishing House or from other kits that meet the specifications listed under Ranger Derby Kits. The contestant must use the parts provided in the kit for their intended use. The contestant may add weights to the car in order to bring the car to the maximum allowed weight. Weights must be an integral part of the car. They may be placed inside the block, mounted as an ornament, or be otherwise permanently attached. Weights may not be taped or set on a car. If weights or any other part of a car comes off during a heat, the heat will be re-run. If the same car or parts leave the track again, the car is disqualified from racing. No heat/race will be delayed while repairs are made. Once a car has been registered, no further work may be done to it. A place should be designated to lubricate and work on cars before they are registered.
